The search for Utopia has driven man to nature for centuries. It’s a search for a new way of living in harmony with the natural world, and with one another. 

Appalachia’s legacy of this ideal was born from the Cherokee Indians and their respect for the land, the utopian experiment of the Black Mountain College avantgardes, and the idealism of the 60s hippie communes. In these moments- creativity and connection thrived, art flourished and mankind reawakened to what was possible. A better way.

Today we return to nature with the same goal, and the grand experiment continues. Welcome to our search for Utopia. Welcome to your outpost on the edge of what’s possible.
